1. Who we are

2. What Klyk is

Klyk is a browser-based photo game for groups. You buy one session and receive two codes: a player code for the group and a host code for whoever facilitates the session. Everyone plays in the browser on their own phone; no app or account is needed.

Klyk is a social activity, not a competition with prizes. Results and scores have no value other than fun.

3. Ordering and payment

Consumer prices include VAT; business prices are shown excluding VAT and specified with VAT on the invoice. Payment is handled by our payment provider, Stripe.

Business buyers can choose between paying immediately or paying by invoice (payment term 14 days). When paying by invoice, the codes are only delivered once the invoice has been paid.

The price is always recalculated at checkout based on your chosen package, duration and group size. Obvious pricing errors do not bind us.

4. Delivery and validity of codes

Codes are delivered immediately after payment via the confirmation page and by email. A code is single-use: one code starts one session. Codes do not expire.

Keep the host code private: anyone who enters the host code gets host powers in the session. Loss or unwanted use of shared codes is at your own risk.

5. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have a 14-day cooling-off period. As long as the session has not been started, you can cancel the purchase within that period without giving a reason and receive a full refund.

By agreeing to immediate delivery of the codes at purchase and starting the session within the cooling-off period, you waive your right of withdrawal once the session has started: the service has then been fully performed.

6. Photos and other user content

Photos uploaded during a session remain the property of their maker. You grant us a limited licence to store them and show them to the group within the session — that is what Klyk is for. We do not use your photos for any other purpose.

Photos are automatically deleted 30 days after the session ends.

You may not upload content that is unlawful, offensive or criminal, or that infringes the rights of others without their consent. Participants can report a photo during the session; we review reports and may hide or remove content and, in cases of abuse, block participants or sessions.

7. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep Klyk working well and without interruption, but cannot guarantee error-free or continuous availability. If a session malfunctions due to a fault on our side, we will provide a replacement code or a refund.

Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount paid for the order concerned. This does not limit liability for intent or deliberate recklessness, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

Klyk is played on the participants' own devices and internet connections; we are not responsible for their functioning.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal data and photos is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. The version in force at the time of ordering applies to that order.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands; consumers retain the protection of the law of their country of residence.
